Cheryl Hosler is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she received a BFA in dance performance and was a member of the nationally acclaimed University Dance Company. While at OSU, she studied with several distinguished choreographers including Bebe Miller, Karen Bell, Rosiland Pierson, and Mark Taylor. She has over 35 years of dance teaching and choreography experience, and nearly 20 years of experience as a high school and college flag line and twirling instructor. She has also choreographed several high school and college musicals. In addition, she is instructor of dance in the Clemson University Department of Performing Arts and founder of the department’s dance program. She serves as Director of the University Dance Company and teaches classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary dance. She also teaches dance classes at Clemson Creative Academy and The Growing Place preschool, and serves on the School Improvement Council at Central Academy of the Arts.
